Dr. Margaret Fulton is a Canadian feminist, educator, and activist who has been recognized internationally for her commitment to peace, education, and women's issues. Born and raised in Manitoba, she is the recipient of both the Governor-General's Award and the Order of Canada. Guest Emcee will be Shaw Television's Joanne Kelly

Winnipeg: March 3, 2007: Manitoba Federation of Labour Women’s Committee is sponsoring a workshop on how to lobby from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Union Centre, 275 Broadway. The workshop is designed to increase women's knowledge of how the lobby process works and provide some hands experience. The Federal Women’s Equal Opportunities Committee of Saskatoon is presenting a symposium on “Making A Difference” at the Army and Navy Air Force Veterans’ Club, 359 1st Avenue North, Saskatoon.

The topics are : Human Trafficking (NASHI); Life of Women in the Armed Forces (Major Sophie Prevost); Protection and Safety for Women ( Leslie Vandenbeuken /Saskatoon City Police) and a few other speakers.
